Stability: Low/Medium. Weaknesses: None. Advantages: It's stock suspension makes miracles, allowing to add more power to it. Suggestion: Since it's already slippery, don't use full Drift Tires, add rear center of mass and find the most suitable dyno for yourself between -4 and 4 to the tires.

But upon entering the tuning screen, one needs to choose among several 'profiles', i.e., Circuit, Drag, Drift, StreetX, and URL. My question: Does the game auto-selects which profile to use when entering a race?
Top Voted Answer. If it's performance you're looking for. Get a good tranny and increase the final gear ratio in the dyno as most starter cars pickup slow. Unlock the car and get in, close the door, open the door, close it again. Plug the MPVI into the PC as well as the OBD2 port. Turn the Key to ON, the position JUST before it would crank and start. Turn off the auto lights as well as the radio and anything else that is on. Then select Flash -> Read from the VCM Editor.
For the online play via LAN, career cars can be used, including uniques and ECU tuning via hex editting, and most players are using these. I added ECUTN to my zip of saves for NFSU2. ECUTN has hex edditted ECU reasonably optimized (not just max power on the dyno), plus all uniques but drivetrain, which doesn't help much, and bogs cars in drag mode.

APR Stage 2, APR Downpipe, K&N drop in filter, APR Pendulum mount + dog bone insert, newish stock spark plugs gapped to APR recommended spec. Attached is the dyno results. Peaks at 259.1HP @5200 RMP. Torque around 320. The dyno was a hub mount. Temp was 25F.
